The WTY-30A portable drilling rig is a small portable drilling machine that is further improved and designed based on the QPY-30 drilling rig. It is suitable for drilling projects such as survey and exploration, geophysical exploration, road and construction exploration, and blasting holes. The features of this drilling rig are as follows:

1. It adopts reasonable technical parameters, has a high degree of mechanization, and reduces labor intensity.

2. It adopts hydraulic feeding device, which is easy to operate and has high drilling efficiency.

3. The turntable can move away from the wellhead along with the front frame, providing a spacious working position and suitable for a variety of drilling methods.

4. Compact structure, small size, light weight, strong detachability, easy to move, assemble and maintain.

5. The drilling rig gearbox is equipped with a transfer mechanism, which can achieve rapid hole cleaning.

Compared with QPY-30, in addition to retaining its main advantages and using many common parts, it has the following new features:

1. The use of external dry clutch makes the gearbox more compact and easier to operate and maintain;

2. The turntable adopts a bottom-mounted spiral bevel gear pair, which has smoother movement, sufficient lubrication and longer service life; it is directly connected to the gearbox, eliminating the auxiliary gearbox, and has a more compact structure; it adopts a φ40 oil cylinder, which is lighter; the chuck adopts a ball chuck, and a handle positioning device is added, which makes the operation more reliable and labor-saving; the overall weight of the turntable is reduced by nearly half;

3. Added high-speed (578r/min) gear, which can use φ76 diamond drilling when encountering hard rocks;

4. The cantilever support of the planetary gear of the elevator is changed to double support, which improves the lifting capacity and service life;

5. The specifications of the frame steel are increased, which increases the overall rigidity and strength of the frame.
