XY-6B core drill is a new product with greater capacity designed by Changsha Prospecting Machinery Factory based on XY-5A core drill. It is mainly suitable for geology, metallurgy, coal, hydrology, engineering and other industries. It is a core drilling equipment mainly for diamond and carbide drilling. It is also suitable for engineering geological exploration, shallow oil and natural gas mining, mine tunnel ventilation, drainage, hydrology well drilling and large-diameter foundation pile engineering construction.

This product can be used for oblique and straight hole drilling. It absorbs the advantages of XY-4, XY-44A and XY-5A drilling rigs, such as simple and compact structure, reasonable layout, easy disassembly, reasonable speed range, equipped with water brake, winch to lift the brake position operation, etc.

The drilling rig has the following features:

1. It has many speed levels and a reasonable speed range, and has large low-speed torque. It is suitable for alloy and diamond core drilling, as well as for engineering geological surveys, hydrological well drilling and foundation pile construction.

2. The vertical shaft through hole has a large diameter (116 mm in diameter), double cylinder hydraulic feed, a long stroke (up to 600 mm), strong process applicability, and is particularly suitable for large-diameter drill rod rope coring (upper coring) drilling, which is beneficial to improving drilling efficiency and reducing accidents in the hole.

3. Large drilling capacity, the rated drilling depth of the 71mm diameter rope coring drill pipe can reach 1900 meters.

4. Light weight and good disassembly. The net weight of the drilling rig (excluding the power machine) is about 4,600 kg. The main machine can be disassembled into 9 parts (the maximum weight of the detachable part is 500 kg). It is easy to move and suitable for working in mountainous areas.

5. The hydraulic chuck adopts one-way oil supply and is equipped with a hydraulically controlled one-way valve. The chuck has strong clamping force and stable clamping.

6. Equipped with water brake, deep hole drilling is smooth and safe.

7. The double gear oil pump is used for oil supply, which is simple to install, easy to use, has low power consumption, low oil temperature in the hydraulic system, and stable operation. The system is equipped with a hand-cranked oil pump, which can still be used to raise the drilling tool in the hole to the bottom of the hole when the power machine fails to work.

8. Low center of gravity, long moving distance (up to 600 mm), firm fixation, and good high-speed drilling stability.

9. Equipped with shockproof instruments, the instrument has a long service life and is convenient for controlling the situation in the hole. There are fewer operating handles, and the operation is flexible and reliable.

10. It adopts automobile gearbox and clutch, which has compact and reasonable structure, stable operation, low noise, high transmission efficiency and easy assembly and disassembly.

11. The automobile-specific soft shaft shifting mechanism is adopted to realize the remote control of the gearbox shifting, and the operation is highly user-friendly.

12. The drilling rig has upper and lower chucks. The upper chuck adopts hydraulic pin type, which can clamp reliably and will not damage the active drill rod; the lower chuck is slip type, which has good center of gravity.
